Jonie Mackey comes to Farm Journal Media from previous employment as an accounting assistant at the Poet Bio refining ethanol plant in Laddonia, Mo. She also has considerable retail and customer service experience. Jonie has lived in mid-Missouri all her life. Her ties to agriculture go back to earlier years in raising hogs, cattle and horses. She and her husband, Michael, are part of a small family cattle farm in northern Callaway County. She enjoys all outdoor activities including hunting in both gun and archery seasons.
